Dear Parents/Guardians:

         It's hard to believe but it's that time of the year again--the beginning of a new school year. My name is NaSheda Dennis and I will be your child's second grade teacher. There is so much  excitement approaching us as we think about new teachers and students to meet, new books to read, new activities and concepts to master, etc... and I look forward to you sharing in all of these exciting times.

As a parent myself, I know that your pride and joy is entering my classroom everyday and I thank you for allowing me this wonderful opportunity to be their teacher. I will give my very all to teach, inspire, motivate, and encourage your child.

We need to work together as a team! "It's a parents enthusiasm, support, and involvement that inspire children to do their best; and a teacher's ability to teach what they need to learn. Together we can achieve wonderful things."
