Mrs. Karmyn L. Levy
My name is Karmyn Levy. I am happy to introduce myself as the school
counselor for Fifth and Sixth Ward Elementary. I received my Bachelor's
Degree in Early Childhood Education from LSU in 2002 and my Master's
Degree in Counselor of Education in 2011. I have been employed with St
James Parish School System for 12 years as an educator of PK and
Kindergarten children with my career starting at Paulina Elementary then
to Gramercy Elementary and Gramercy Magnet.
My focus was on early grades because I wanted to help build a strong
foundation for all children. As a counselor, my goal is the same but
with a twist. I want to now help shape the lives of the children in
interact with. My role is to encourage all children to strive for their
personal best regardless of their foundation.
After the events of my day, I must cheerfully say that my spare time is
spent with my loving husband and my energetic children. :))
