Multicultural Day 2023
Multicultural Day Fall 2023

Kenya, Jamaica, Canada, and Italy! These are just a few countries that the scholars of SLA visited during the Multicultural Day. Students toured each station and learned the history of each culture.  They even got a chance to sample some foods from different cultures as well.    

A global multicultural day event celebrates diversity, unity, and cultural appreciation. It’s designed to bring together our students and showcase the rich cultures that make up our school communities.  To view photos from the multicultural day event please click the link below.

BACKPACK PROGRAM

Backpack Program 2023

  The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank has partnered with St. Louis Academy and will be running the Backpack Program. 
   The Backpack Program will provide a backpack filled with food that child-friendly, non-perishable, and easily consumed.  Backpacks are distributed to students every school week to take home for the weekend.  This enables students to have a healthy meal for the weekend. 
   To enroll your child in the program, please fill out the permission form provided by your child's teacher.  Thanks!

SPIRIT SHIRT DESIGN

SLA is excited to present the new spirit shirt design.  Order can be sent to the school on or before September 5, 2023.  Please send money in a sealed envelope with your child’s name, amount, and grade to school to be collected by the teacher.  Please see the link below for the order form Thanks!!!!

We have begun our Accelerated Reader Program here at SLA! We are a R.E.D. Star school where we practice READING EVERY DAY with our students! Please see the information below about our AR Program by grade level.
